Our family is no stranger to maple festivals. For the past nine years we have been visiting the various sugar shacks in Prince Edward County. This year would be no different. I had a plan, and we would be up early and go for most of the day. Just how many places can you see? Well keep reading…
As a family, we have been travelling to Myrtle Beach four out of the last five years. I don’t know why it took me so long to actual see if there were places to either canoe or kayak. Who knew? There were a few places that offered tours and we were decided to go. Everything was set, but was it going to happen?
We are no strangers to Frontenac Provincial Park. We have been here many times canoe camping, hiking, and I have taken my outdoor classes here for their big canoe trip each year. This visit we decided to hike a new trail section. We needed a trail that was shorter in length, as we knew we would be here for only a couple of hours in the morning. With that in mind, we headed to the park to hike the Doe Lake Loop.

If you are an outdoor enthusiast, you have probably heard about the Outdoor Adventure Show. My crew and I have attended this show in the past and we have really enjoyed all the presentations and the free swag that is given away at this event. This year I figured it was time to get in as a blogger. I emailed the event organiser and I was granted media passes. That meant that this year I would be an official blogger for this event!
