Adventure Down the West Coast of Newfoundland

As we prepared to say farewell to Newfoundland, we planned to visit a few more sites along the west coast.  Our plan for these couple of days was to see more of Gros Morne National Park,  visit a local provincial park further up the west coast, then end with a visit with family while we wait for our ferry.

Here Fishy Fishy Fishy!

Summer is back?

The first two weeks back at work (I work in a school), all I could think about was camping.  Yes, I have gone out lots this year, but I wanted to go again.  Then I received another notification from Cruising Canoes that they were hosting a 2 day fishing trip to Puzzle Lake Provincial Park. I was in! It’s the perfect time frame for me.

SUP and Yoga moves – Part 2

Session 3!

At the end of our second session, our instructor told us that we could try some yoga moves at the end of our next two sessions.  I have enjoyed doing yoga before, and this was a new challenge on such an unstable board.  If you have not yet tried SUP, you have to use a large number of muscles to keep you balanced.
